ONLINE members of M.I.G.S.
(Online members are those who have been invited to joined our online discussion group, not necessarily those
who participate in investigations. These members are individuals that have joined through this website and are a part
of the Yahoo! MIGS group.)
“Online membership” is defined as members who wish to share their ghost hunting experience online with this
discussion group. It does not necessarily mean that a person registered on this site or the Yahoo! Group is an actual member
of the Mid Illinois Ghost Society. Online members are welcomed and encouraged to share their stories and experiences with
others on this site. )
PLEASE NOTE: Members of the Mid Illinois Ghost Society are individuals that are part of the investigative
team. Members will have proper identification (membership cards) on them at all times during investigations. In addition,
property owners and/or the proper authorities will be notified prior to an investigation of what members will be participating
in an investigation. The purpose of this is to prevent others from using our name and giving the M.I.G.S. a bad reputation.
We are stict in the standards and procedures that we follow, and expect anyone wishing to join our investigative team to do
the same.

No one under the age of 18 is permitted to join MIGS or accompany MIGS on an investigation. Although
we would welcome the interest of all ages to the paranormal field, we feel that allowing minors to play a active
role in any part of an investigation would be irresponsible on our part. It is the view of MIGS that the safety
for all members is of the upmost importance and allowing minors to be involved could compromise their safety, as well as others
in the team. MIGS has teamed up with the members of SPRS (Shelby Paranormal Research Society). For more information
